Lifeguards & Staff Employment Information
Robin Hood Pool is now accepting applications for Lifeguards for the 2021 Summer season. Below is a copy of the job description, application form, and the Robin Hood Pool Code of Conduct. Please review these documents and submit a completed application to email@example.com. Questions can be directed to the pool manager, Griffin Tock, at the same email address.
Accepted applicants will be notified by the Pool Manager and will receive a formal offer letter with additional information regarding training, scheduling and job responsibilities. Accepted applicants will need to also complete the following additional documents:
- Federal regulations require each employee to submit a Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification) and a Form W-2 (employee withholding allowance certification). Please follow instructions and submit with proper identification.
- For lifeguards under the age of 18, you will need to obtain a work permit from the State of Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulations (DLLR). Click here to be directed to the DLLR website and information about obtaining a work permit – permits can be filed on-line but must be printed out and signed by both the lifeguard and a parent/guardian and submitted to the Pool Manager.
- For lifeguards 18 years of age and older, you will need to authorize a background check. Please fill out and sign this authorization form and return to the Pool Manager.
Final decisions about employment will be made by the Board of Directors of Robin Hood Pool in concurrence with the Pool Manager. Questions or concerns about employment decisions can be directed to personnel via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
