2019 Swim Lesson Registration Form

Looking for help teaching your kids how to swim? Robin Hood’s got you covered, regardless of your child’s age or ability. Sign up your children aged 3 and older for lessons that’ll have them confident in the pool in no time. Each two-week session includes eight 30-minute classes, held Monday-Friday of both weeks.  PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO HOME SWIM MEETS, MORNING LESSONS WILL MEET MONDAY-THURSDAY (NO FRIDAY!), WHILE EVENING LESSONS WILL MEET MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY (NO WEDNESDAY!)

Pre-Beginner Beginner Advanced Beginner
A beginner is a child without much experience in the water. Their sessions would be focused on putting their face in the water, floating, blowing bubbles, beginning to kick, etc. A swim beginner has some experience in the water, is comfortable putting their face in the water, but does not know how to swim quite yet. Their lessons will be focused on kicking with a board, learning to pull, breathing while they swim, and learning to swim. This is for kids who know how to swim, but aren't ready for the team (maybe they can't quite make it half way across the pool). These lessons will focus on stroke fundamentals, completing a length of the pool, and preparing them to be confident swimmers.

Note: If a morning class is canceled due to weather, the class will be made up on Friday at the same time as the original lesson. Call Robin Hood at 301-384-9732 one half hour before your lesson time to check for cancellation due to weather.

The registration deadline for lessons is on the Friday just before the start of the new session. Classes are organized by age and ability once registration forms are received, and parents will be notified via email of their child’s class time. An assessment takes place on the first day of class.

Payment can be made with cash or check at the pool.  Submit completed form and payment to the pool front office by 7pm on the deadline date.

The cost per session is $90 for members, and $115 for non-members.

If your child is in a morning session, please observe from the grassy area. For safety reasons, non-swimmers must stay off the pool deck before 11 a.m. The baby pool also is off limits at that time.

After 11 a.m. the pool and its facilities are for Robin Hood members only. For liability reasons, nonmember swim students are allowed in the water only under supervision of their swim instructor during their class time. Nonmembers may exit and re-enter the pool area as guests by paying at the front desk. Or, even better, we would LOVE our nonmembers to become members, which they can do by registering here online or at the front desk!
